Deciduous Shrub : Ht. 20’ W 10-12’. 

Prefers loam soils. Full sun. Very flood tolerant. Upright form. Showy, silvery gray catkins. Found along lakeshores, swamps, and bogs. Often used as an ornamental landscape plant.
