Perennial : Ht 1-2' W 12".

Prefers mesic to dry loams or sandy soils. Prefers full sun to partial shade. Yellow flowers bloom in June-July. Leaves are dark green and very narrow. (You can dead-head the expired flowers to extend bloom time.) Rhizomatous.
