Perennial : Ht.1-2' W 1-2'. 

Prefers well drained soils. Prefers part sun to full shade. This bushy woodland perennial does not go dormant during mid-summer. Beautiful, slightly fragrant, white flowers in May-June. Showy red berry clusters in late August-early October. Fruit and roots are poisonous.
